Prof. Lorraine Gammon

Lorraine is Professor of Design at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. She is also the Director of the award-winning Design Against Crime Research Centre (DACRC) which she set up in 1999 at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, University of the Arts London.

Dr. Rachel Armitage

Rachel joined the University of Huddersfield in 2005, following three years as a Senior Consultant for Nacro and one year as a Senior Research Fellow at the Jill Dando Institute of Crime Science. In 2010 she was appointed Reader in Criminology. She has published extensively on the subject of CPTED – specifically the UK Secured by Design scheme. Rachel has authored 'Crime Prevention Through Housing Design: Policy & Practice' in addition to having edited a special edition of the Built Environment journal on International Perspectives on Planning for Crime Prevention

John Strutton

John is the Community Safety & Crime Prevention Manager at Transport for London. John is also co-director of Caribbean Crime Prevention International. He joined TfL following his work on Crime Prevention and Community Safety with Westminster Council and London Underground. JOhn has worked in some challenging, including Hackney and Islington and brings a wealth of applied expertise with him.
